Local Roots

DEEPLY ROOTED IN OUR COMMUNITY

We serve our community by fueling our customers every day with fresh food to fit their lifestyle. Our chef crafted creations are dietitian approved and feature locally sourced ingredients. Our fresh produce and high quality, ethically raised proteins are delivered daily from farms in Petaluma and and Salinas Valley. We source our baked goods from Panorama Bakery, right here in SF and brew coffee beans that are roasted right across the bay by ZOLO in Berkeley. We've taken the "Shop Local, Eat Local" concept and turned it into our mission, because we care about our customers, our city, our neighbors and we want them all to thrive.

A PASSION FOR FOOD SHARED BY FATHER AND DAUGHTER

''Family first, then the restaurants'' has always been the mantra of Bay Area restaurateur, Randy Negi. Fortunately for him, that line has blurred as his daughter, Lauren Negi, enters the restaurant scene in San Francisco's financial district.

Lauren grew up in the restaurant industry; you could say that the business is in her blood. She learned the business from the ground up, working virtually every job from pastry chef's assistant to server to manager and everything in between. When it came time for college, Lauren remained focused on the food industry while earning a degree in business. And when she had an idea for a new community driven restaurant concept in SF, she consulted her mentor and dad drawing from his 35+ years of experience. At 26, Lauren is now realizing her dream of creating a dining experience that connects customers with local, fresh ingredients, delicious food, and friendly service. Welcome to the Local Roots family!
